lately at school we have been learning about persuasive devices. Today we learned about Ethos, Logos and Pathos. Heres a small explanation:

Ethos, Logos and Pathos are the means by which persuasion to a point of view can occur.

Ethos: persuading by appealing to the readers values.

Logos: persuading by appealing to the means of logical reasoning.

Pathos: persuading by appealing to the readers emotion.
